Another Finish

Another scrap project finished! This photo doesn't show the binding, but I put that on last night - it's yellow like the inner border. And it all came out of my stash!

While quilting it, I realized that my little check spring thingy on the tension knobs was missing. After using the machine for 7 years, I guess it just broke off. Got a replacement part - just hope I can put it on without totally screwing things up! I have a really good friend who promised to walk me through it over the phone if I hit a rough patch.

I guess tonight I will attempt longarm maintenance and I really need to do a little cleanup in the studio - it's still much better than it was before the end of the year, but if I don't keep up with it, I'll have a huge mess all over again.

We just received our order of Weeks Dye Works hand dyed floss in the store, and it's going to be all I can do not to dive right into it and start a new punchneedle design.....temptation rears its ugly head! We'll see just how long I can hold off. Bets, anyone?

Susan

Oh how I can relate. I love reading your blogs, it gives me a better understanding of "you".
you may laugh, but we really are much alike, and I didn't know it until I started reading your inner thoughts. Thanks, you have made my day, I know I'm not alone. It is a good feeling. carole m.

Do you have the pattern for this quilt or did you invent it? It is great, Donna
