We Interrupt Our Regularly Scheduled Program....

Minor halt to the scrappin' and cleanin' program.

Audrey leaves on church retreat tomorrow afternoon for the weekend. She's been working on a "camp quilt" for several weeks. Small problem. She pieces....she doesn't quilt or bind. Mom does that.

So - guess what mom did today?

She's all happy, and so am I.

P.S. Sneaky photo of adorable cat eating dinner.....

Oh very nice. This is a great camp quilt. Moms always come through in the end don't they?

Cute kitty...

Is that "camp quilt" big enough? For my comfort, I would need another row of blocks - I need to tuck under my toes and chin. :o)

It is a beautiful quilt either way! I am kind of suprised that she did not use more "Mod" looking prints or color combination. I guess my preconceived notions of how the younger generation quilts is out the window.

Love that quilt your daughter made and I am seriously impressed with your scrap cutting! Now...the question is -- I haven't organized my scraps in 6 years or so -- am I a hopeless case?

How fun that your daughter sews! It's lovely! Some day she'll do the other steps, too.

You certainly have been busy! Lots of fabric cut, even a pretty bargello quilt. Your daughter's quilt is great. Wonderful pattern. My daughter's favorite colors are black and red as well.

First of all your daughter is beautiful...I would pay good money for that hair color!
She is also a smart girl, piecing is the fun part in my opinion. The rest of it is scary and time consuming!
Her quilt is great and isn't it funny that the cat will not let things like quilts and picture taking interrupt his eating!
